HOW DO MY CUSTOMERS ACCUMULATE POINTS?
|

Your customers will receive points each time they make a qualifying purchase at your business. You can issue points in several different ways: Manually, using magnetic membership cards or by giving customers our unique disposable point cards with their receipts.

WHICH POINT ISSUING METHOD SHOULD I CHOOSE?

It depends on the nature of your business.
For fast paced businesses, we recommend using point cards. They enable your staff to save time and effort, while reducing customer wait times at the cash register. All you have to do is give your customers a point card together with their receipt and let them do the rest (sign up online, redeem points and issue themselves gift vouchers).
However, if you run a business such as a spa or clinic, and want to be able to issue points based on the exact dollar amount spent, you can use magnetic membership cards and manually enter the transaction value. It's entirely up to you.

WHAT EXACTLY ARE REWARD VOUCHERS?

Reward vouchers are the gifts that customers receive once they've accumulated enough loyalty points at your business. Vouchers can be for practically anything: from discounts on specific items to completely free gifts. It's up to you.

HOW DO CUSTOMERS RECEIVE REWARD VOUCHERS?
|
 |
|
When customers have accumulated enough points they are shown a list of reward vouchers to choose from in their online account. Each reward voucher "costs" a certain number of points that you define. To issue a voucher, the customer simply clicks on the voucher that they would like and chooses to print it. The system then automatically deducts the appropriate number of points from their account and generates a personalized voucher for them to print.

HOW SHOULD I DETERMINE HOW MANY POINTS TO GIVE?

It really depends on the nature of your business and your average transaction size. Generally, we recommend keeping your point structure simple by creating a tiered plan that takes your average sale price as the starting point value, and then encourages customers to spend more above it. For example: if your average transaction is $100, then you could give 100 points for each $100 spent. The point cards would then be printed in denominations of 100, 200, 500 and 1000 points, to allow for maximum flexibilty.

CAN THEY SEE THEIR PERSONAL RECORD AND UPDATE IT?

Each customer can access their online point account using their own staffname and password. Once logged in, they can add points, issue vouchers and view their point status. They can also update their contact information independently, saving you the time and hassle of doing this.

DO I NEED TO SETUP ANYTHING ON MY P.O.S. SYSTEM IN ORDER TO USE LOYALTYSOFT?

No.LoyaltySoft supports barcode and magnetic card readers, so all vouchers issued to customers can be redeemed easily through your point of sale system. All you need to do is add the barcodes to your system, just like you would with any other item.

DO I NEED A COMPUTER?
|

Yes, a computer with an Internet connection and a standard web browser is required to use LoyaltySoft. However, if you’re able to read this webpage, you probably already have everything you need.

WHAT TYPE OF INTERNET CONNECTION IS REQUIRED?
|

Any dial-up connection will do, however we recommend an always-on connection, such as DSL, Cable, or ISDN for best performance.

DO I NEED TO PURCHASE ANY ADDITIONAL SOFTWARE OR HARDWARE?

No. As long as you have an Internet connection and a standard web browser (such as Internet Explorer, FireFox, Opera, etc.) you can use LoyaltySoft.

WILL LOYALTYSOFT WORK ON MY MAC?
|
 |
|
Yes. Since LoyaltySoft is browser-based, it doesn't matter if you use a Mac, PC, Unix, or any other operating system. As long as you can access the Internet and view webpages, you should be fine.
